Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis (Oil on Ampersand, 24×32)

A solitary mountain rises from a landscape alive with movement, its form shaped by sweeping, layered strokes that seem to carry the earth upward into the open sky. Above it, soft washes of blue, pink, and warm light create an atmosphere that feels expansive and almost without boundary. The contrast between the weight of the mountain and the openness surrounding it gives the painting a sense of transformation already in motion.

Metamorphosis (Oil on Ampersand, 24×32)

Metamorphosis explores spiritual awakening as a process of transformation and release. The mountain remains grounded in the physical world, yet its upward movement draws the eye toward a space that feels increasingly open and without boundary. What appears solid begins to feel fluid, as though familiar forms are changing and making room for something new.

At the heart of the painting is the idea of breaking free from the limits that define what we believe is possible. Transformation asks us to move beyond what is familiar without necessarily knowing what waits on the other side. In that uncertainty, possibility expands.

The painting becomes an invitation to remain open to that process. Beyond the boundaries of what we know lies an infinite range of paths, experiences, and ways of becoming. Metamorphosis captures the moment when those possibilities begin to reveal themselves.
