In Toadstool, I painted a desert formation as it emerges in the quiet light of morning. The shapes and colors of the landscape become the focus, revealing a kind of beauty that feels both natural and unexpected. In that early light, the forms of the desert seem almost alive, shifting between stone and imagination. The painting reflects a moment of spiritual awakening brought on simply by seeing the landscape clearly.

In Ghosts, I imagined forms that exist somewhere between presence and memory. The vertical shapes emerge through layers of color and texture, suggesting figures that linger just beyond clear recognition. The painting reflects the idea that some truths remain hidden during life, only revealing themselves in death. In that sense, the figures become echoes—reminders that what is unseen often carries the deepest meaning.

In Conversation, I imagined two people standing together within a dreamlike and atmospheric landscape. Their small forms face the vastness around them, sharing a quiet moment of reflection. The painting speaks to the idea of two people meeting the eternal darkness of life’s final judgement. In that moment, conversation becomes less about words and more about the human need to face the unknown together.
