This painting is about the moment of tension and confusion that can arise in the vast stillness of the desert. Layers of deep reds, oranges, and muted violets move across the surface, creating a landscape that feels both intense and unsettled. The terrain appears fractured and shifting, as if the land itself is carrying the weight of an internal struggle.

The desert has always been a place where the mind confronts itself. In its openness and isolation, distractions fall away, leaving only the raw presence of the landscape and one’s own thoughts.
